The Walls

This world today has gotten so out of place
With this heart broken land
And it’s beaten up face

See the pictures on the walls
With those false faded smiles
Feel the impact of the waterfalls
Falling for miles

The walls move closer everyday
With every heart beat
Comes a price to pay
It makes us all want to cry
But I know, you know
The tears, they’ll all come out dry

You’re bitter, anguish filled mind
Sometimes gets the best of you
But what you will come to find
Realizing isn’t always true

The walls move closer everyday
With a single heart beat
Comes a price to pay
It makes us all want to cry
But I know, you know
The tears, they’ll all come out dry

Now the lands have separated
The animals have lost their strength
Isn’t it hard realizing that you once related,
To so much happiness, with so much length.

The walls move closer everyday
With a single heart beat
Comes a price to pay
It makes us all want to cry
But I know, you know
The tears, they’ll all come out dry

I hope those pink angels will find there way
Through the confusion and anger
Come what may
