The END of TIME

Contributed by Irish on Thursday, 7th October 2004 @ 04:18:02 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

As humans, we walk in a maze called TIME,
We follow the only light we see,
A pixie called FATE,
We follow her wherever she leads us,
DEATH being only a few strides behind.
FATE ultimately leads us to a dead end,
This is where DEATH ends our torment of wandering,
When DEATH takes us to a better place.
The END of TIME.

Hmmm...inspirational....I guess so. Inspiring to those who believe in life after death (as I do), but it seemed a little pessimistic in its view on this life we behold on earth. I always thought to make best of these days instead of dwelling on death. It almost seems like escaping reality, but who could blame you for doing that in this wretched place we live? Good thoughts; I've had the same.
