Castle Cast

Contributed by Lee on Thursday, 7th October 2004 @ 12:39:53 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

A room in a castle casts a strange glow
Fiery bursts of life, although,
No one is really there
Here there are men bricked in walls
Crying out in terror-calls
But no one dares
No one
No one
No one is really there
No one
No one
No one will dare
A room in a castle casts a strange glow
Fiery bursts of life, although,
No one is really there
Here there are men bricked in walls
Crying out in terror-calls
But no one dares
No one, no one, no one, no one, no one,
But the castle cast

The French Lady:
The French Lady
Of questionably noble birth
Whom delights
In strange mirth

The Lad:
The Lad of the castle
Apprentice to a
Great wizard

The Lord:
The Lord of the castle
Sits at his table
Waiting for his mutton
While his servants
Are fast asleep in the stable

The Lady's Grand Design:
The Lady has a grand design
Se'll posion his castle Lordship's wine
So that when she dines
She will not have to listen to his whine

The Sea Creature:
By the loch of the castle
It can be seen
Sprouting from the water's surface
Some say it is a giant eel
Others say it is a giant sea serpent

The Ten-Headed Monster:
The ten-headed monster
At the base of the castle
Some say the effort to keep it
Caped up is not worth the hassle.

In the verse The Ten-Headed Monster
Caped should be Caged.
If you could change this I would appreciate it.
