11:11

Contributed by Mick_Puttock on Thursday, 7th October 2004 @ 05:50:04 AM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

11:11 and once again I’m off to bed
I’m going to rest my weary head
Thinking is tonight finally my time to go?
When my heartbeat tends to go too slow
It drops right down abnormally I’m told
You’d think I was really old !
Or could it be when I fail to breathe
Is it then that I’ll go with ease?
Though with this I wake every time
It must be something within the mind
When asleep I keep putting arms above my head
And my low blood pressure makes them dead
My arms they end up going all numb
Lack of blood, now is this the one?
It feels real strange, motionless and cold
And have to wait for blood again to get a hold
When its only one that has gone dead
And I reach with the other above my head
Lifting this “thing”, all cold without feeling
Knowing it's attached, but wait, it's healing
Funniest is, when it occurs in both arms
Wriggling around, and trying not to harm
I’m not afraid of death when all is said
When in my heart, I’m already dead
This is a nightly occurrence almost now for me
But I guess at best, when I go…. peaceful I’ll be

Nights are hard sometimes especially when you can't find sleep and you can't get comfortable.

May you rest better in the future and hopefully before 11:11.

Now I know why my hands fall asleep under the pillow at night. I have LBP, too. You must be about my same age. Thanks for a write that made me smile and think that we are all in the same boat.

I like this write..

Worry wort you are..

I understand.. at any rate..

Sometimes I pray to go to my Heavenly Father now

I like how you rhyme, and make it all clear.

Great writer... that you are..
