I’m listening
when you think everyone’s gone,
I’m listening
to the silent music of your heart.
Times and seasons rush by
in the space of a moment,
just hold your breath and
you’ll hear a lifetime in it.
A million miles lie between
us, a million lands to pass,
a million days and nights…
in the breadth of one footstep.
Dreams may pass, visions fade,
but love cuts deep- a mark
that cannot grow faint, and
love heals deep- elixir of life.
Let the dawns keep their secrets,
all I need to know is that
you’re near, and if I only reach
my hand, I’ll touch you tonight.
Coz I’m listening
when you think everyone’s gone,
I’m listening
to the dreaming songs of your heart.

This is a great poem. It feels almost like you are speaking to the reader. This is very encouraging. |

Very, very, well written. It consumed my heart as I read it. Breathtaking. My favorite lines were:
but love cuts deep- a mark
that cannot grow faint, and
love heals deep- elixir of life.
Awesome.
Take care
