This Made it Real

Contributed by silent_tears on Wednesday, 6th October 2004 @ 10:05:57 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Mourning, grieving, dressed in black-
All because you'll never come back.
I went to say my last goodbye,
How could they come high?
I stood there, in that room
Smelling of flowers, salt and death
So that I could see you before you were at your tomb.
I couldn't bring myself to walk over,
At least not alone, so I walked with her.
But it wasn't right, no it was all wrong
Because normally you would be playing guitar and singing a song
This was different
Your body lie cold and lifeless, fingers straight, not bent
I didn't want to be there, but I just couldn't leave
Because I wanted to make sure you'd recieve
All my tears and prayers that you were heaven.
I cried so much, because I loved you, Kevin.

This is indeed quite sad. To deal with death is hard for many people, our minds see them as we remember them in life. Thou you will be saddened for some time, you have many great memories I am sure that will live in your heart and mind for your life time.

My best to you,

The Voice

This is very sad.. But it is a great write, you have a beautiful way of expressing your feelings. I also have a friend named Kevin.. But I guess you couldn't call him a friend any more because he does not speak to me. So in a way I have a slight feeling of what you have felt.. I am very sorry for your loss.. All love..
*lovely*
