What Happens Next?

Contributed by iluvpencils on Wednesday, 6th October 2004 @ 09:52:33 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

At my first glimpse of your face
The image clung to my brain
Forcing me to linger on
Thoughts of you
All day
Dreaming of you
All night
Dreaming of you

The next day I saw you
I only wanted more
I blushed and looked down
At my feet
You smiled
And walked away

Now I'm going crazy
Waiting and waiting
Hoping for you to turn around
How can this be happening?
I don't even know you!
But I want to...
Somehow...
I'm lying in bed
Wondering when I will see you again

Today you looked at me
I was afraid to look back
Afraid you'd disappear
I heard you speak
And longed for the words
To be meant for me
I saw you blush
And smiled inside myself
But still I'm wanting more

You painted a picture I could see and feel. Isn't it a wonderful feeling? ..........Mike

oOo! I really like this. The last stanza is awesome, and wraps it up perfectly. I hope you get/got the guy.
