Something Wicked's In The Wind

Something wicked’s in the wind;
I can feel it,
Let it in.
Don’t forbid me for I’ve sinned.
Don’t you touch it.
You can’t win.
Must I face this thing alone?
What’s the answer?
Will it come?
I’ve been locked in frozen stone.
From this cancer,
I must run.
Find a place to hide and think.
Lost in shadow,
Longing light.
Pull myself back from the brink.
Find the window,
Shut up tight.
Find a way to enter there.
Now I’m learning,
Now I see.
Breathe the sweetness of the air.
Worlds are turning,
Set me free.
Touch the pulse of what we are.
I am willing,
Call my name.
Make a wish and choose your star.
Moments filling,
Up the game.
Something wicked’s in the world;
But I’ve no fear,
I will stand.
Up against the darkness hurled.
Don’t shed a tear,
It’s been planned.
