I can't handle the pressure
no one to turn to
where is my God
please help me
I feel like death
I cannot sleep
I am constantly worried
where did I go wrong
life is a blurr
I love my Grandchildren
but they will have to grow big
despite of me
I'll just quickly post them an
outfit each
before I go
I drive
to nowhere planned
through the unfamiliar bottle depo
I cradle it on the motel bed
slowly sipping with those pills
I feel useless and so bad
this is the only way
there is a knife to cut
deep into my unloved skin
,,,,,,*****........?????
blurr...I wake in a mentally disturbed hospital
now I am left to face what I've done
I can't imagine what my family is thinking...
why did I let myself get so low
God please help me!

| Each person who entertains suicide goes through their own battle. I had mine in 1995 and 1999 as portrayed in "As close as I have been. All we can do is love those who feel that they can not be loved or are not worthy of it. You portray that in your poem very well. |

almost made me cry.. good write.
I had thoughts like this.. God always pulls me out of sadness and gives me poems of love from him and helps me. I lost an aunt recently . decided ot end it all and then she was cremated. all sad. she thought of her problems instead of thinking about the ones she left behind in pain. |

| your poem is very gut -wrenching, but I quite enjoyed reading it. Only a person who has been at the dark point in life can feel it and then write about it the way you have. I've been there, and have seen and know it well. I wrote about it in a poem called 'In Spirit'. The way you manage to capture all of what you're feeling at that time, without giving away to much is truly an art form. I hope you and your friend are at ease with your life now. A great write.
