Heart Shaped Teardrops

Contributed by pixie on Wednesday, 6th October 2004 @ 12:40:11 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Heart shaped teardrops fall from my eyes,
As the rain falls from the vast skies,
They fall straight into my soul,
My emotions are beyond my control.

Love causes a stir inside me,
I feel just like a buzzing bumblebee,
My head is somewhere in the clouds,
I feel secure wrapped in your love shroud.

This feeling is one that I can not describe,
It is one in which I have climbed inside,
Forever I will stay locked in rapture,
You are a fever I wish to capture.

My tears fall onto my smiling lips,
As I feel myself slowly slip,
Under a spell that you have cleverly weaved,
If I didn’t know you I’d have never believed.

That true love really did exist in you,
Your love is sweeter than honeydew.
You create all my happiness & my smiles,
For you I would walk over so many miles.

I love the whole concept of teardrops shaped like a heart. How very original and alluring.
