Rockabie, Rockabie
Green, green Rockabie
Shaded by the willow tree
Clover-scented Rockabie
Has a lover's note one day
Reads, re-reads what is says
Falls asleep in bed of heather
Quiet in the warming weather
Rockabie, Rockabie
Green, green Rockabie
Shaded by the willow tree
Clover-scented Rockabie
Takes a bath in patch of posies
Dances till cheeks are rosy
Dresses in green flax and silk
Feasts upon dandelion milk.
Rockabie, Rockabie
Green, green Rockabie
Shaded by the willow tree
Clover-scented Rockabie
