The sun is out, but the sky is dark; this is my comfort
Children's laughter is seen, but nor heard
You notice that day has broke, but night is still present
As you sit alone in the darkness you wonder why life is so cruel and unjust
You know that your heart is heavy and your days are numbered
Soon it's realized that the tears you shed are lost forever and their value unknown
When you were young you prayed for guidance to know the difference between right and wrong
Now it's all a blur: days that are gone in the wind like the joy in your heart
As the light comes closer and you feel it's warmth
You taske one last look in the mirror and know it's the end of your troubles you will be hurt no more
Today was a day never began
