"Joyeux Anniversaire!"
What a joyous day,
Oh, what a blissful moment!
The birth of a new child has come to be,
A very emotional moment, indeed...
Tears of joy cascade down the Mother's face,
The pain subsiding,
Happiness consuming her...
The Father stands tall and proud next to his lovely wife,
His barriers crumbling as his child looks up to him and laughs,
High and sweet, like a melody of bells...
How beautiful she is,
This precious jewel, vibrant and full of life...
A time of celebration, for the birth of their little bundle of joy...
A sweet gift from God,
An answer to their prayers...
Time passes by,
Without a note of presence,
And snatches those days of youth away,
At a blink of an eye...
No longer his baby girl,
She has blossomed into the most beautiful of all flowers,
Putting all others to shame...
Eyes no longer full of innocence,
But of knowledge and wisdom of life...
She is the exact replica of her Mother,
Splendiferous in everyway,
And has the personality of her Father...
Charming, kind, and ever so loving...
Every year,
This day is celebrated with bounteous love and happiness,
The day to indulge yourself endlessly with sweets,
Without having to worry about your diet...
Gifts of all sizes,
Wrappers of the most brilliant colors...
A world painted with a perfect hand,
Exploding with Life, Love, and sheer delight!
September 29th, was the day of her birth,
Just recently celebrated,
And this is my "gift" to her...
Although, not wrapped in colorful paper,
It is a gift filled with love and best wishes from a friend,
Dwelling in a distant land...
May your days always be flooding with joy,
And unconditional love...

A solitary tear wells in the corner of an eye, Papa thinks this could be of the most precious gifts recieved. We will read together tonight ... and respond again on the morrow
