One Kick

Opaque dampness streams heavy from the sky,
Drips of natures moisture echo off the dome's wall
Hushed crowd awaits a crowned victory,
Eyes focused on one girl, one ball.
Slender black strands dangle wet in the slight breeze,
As the rain gently bounces off the ivory glow of her face
Her dark espresso glare scopeing the winning site,
Prowling her territory, they smoothly guide, notice, and trace.
Snowflake top now heavy and soakened
Creating shadowed folds around her arms and chest
Creole red once bright is now darkened
Accented with white, now tacked with the rest.
Muscles frozen with the awe of the moment
Shot eyed, movement quick
A screaming crowd and a triumphed girl
Defining a champion, one kick.
