Wisconsin Day

The lake air is warm today,
so clean and fresh.
The breeze so inviting.
Leaves from the trees-
tumbling gently
down,
down,
down,
Oh! How exciting!
Colors of greens, yellows, oranges and reds,
Tie-dye visions dance in my head.
Lucky to be here and enjoy this day,
for I know it wont last long.
Autumns here and summer days,
now seem long gone.
