a pearl but small, too big for her
diamonds spread at her feet
not seeking anything more than they
a sickness shell never beat
she stands up tall, and gives her all
surrenders and falls to the floor
try again, reach for stars
shell never ask for more
but crying to her porcelain god
oh, her eyes are laced in red
choking back and spitting up
beauty is all shes fed
a glamour life is what they see
and through emeralds they stare
feeling lost from memory
she really doesnt care
her opal eyes are fading
but she has control
still never good enough
shell never reach her goal
but crying to her porcelain god
her eyes are laced in red
choking back and spitting up
beauty is all shes fed.
