Who Can Mend A Broken Heart?!

Contributed by Yousef on Monday, 4th October 2004 @ 11:36:33 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

After all I did for you, you said goodbye
After all I did for you, you left without saying why
When I look to any girl your face is what I see
And I feel as if your face is like the shadow hanging over me
I keep asking why couldn’t I be the one who gets to your heart?
I keep asking why is this pain tearing me apart?
I thought I’ll never cry but for you I cried with no tears
I cried over the dreams I had about us all over the years
If you had eyes you would have seen my love that you left behind
If you had ears you would have listened to my heart beats inside
All I ever wanted is to make your wishes come true
All I ever wanted is to make you feel the same way I do
I wrote for you the best love poems I can write
And even after you said goodbye I still dream of you at night
I keep asking what if I can’t ever have you here with me?
I keep wondering what kind of life would that be?
I’m doing my best to forget, I’m doing my best to erase this feelings for you
But till now I couldn’t because everything I do reminds me of you
Tell me what to do because without you I can hardly breathe
I pretend to be strong but I feel so weak underneath
“You gave me meaning to this empty world of mine”
And I don’t know if there will ever be another love another time
“Once upon a time I was falling in love, now I’m only falling apart”
And now I’m asking, who can mend a broken heart?

beautiful compassionate peice of writting, and know this, no one can mend a broken heart but u,
and u will, in time u will feel somthing that u never
exspected, love 4 another women, and i mean no disrespect by this, but the in same scence as when some one dies, we morn there passing and morn but then suddenly, like throwing a car in 2 reverse bang, we stop morning, then we r faced with the oppisite, the feeling of guilt toward our selves, when we wonder y were suddenly were not , welllll, let say thinking of that person so much, we ask our selves, hummm, i thought i loved my husban or wife or mother or father or even kid, and we did and still do, but we have no one 2 give it 2, till some one new comes along, and then like filling a well with water, the full bucket eventually becomes empty as we pour it in 2 the well that becomes full again, think of as a river that eventually flows 2 the sea, u r the river and like it or not thats the direction, you'll be headed in agan, so write your poems, maybey evne curse a 100 times, punch a wall, what ever your style of greiving or morning is, bottom line, " GET RID OF ALL THE BAGGAGE, BEFORE THE NEXT TRIP " GOOD LUCK . . .
