The sands of time,
Flow like a river through ones mind,
Years go by, people come and go,
I think about my life, what do I have to show,
26 years I've been on this Earth,
Poetry was a gift I was given at brith,
I hope one day the world will understand,
There's more to life then money in hand,
Look at the families living on the streets,
Digging through trash, just to eat,
Sending food too other countries,
All the while, our own go hungry,
I have wishes, I have dreams,
Their all but forgotten, so it seems,
I don't have alot money, but I get by,
I'd be rich, if I had a penny each time the goverment lied,
So what do I have to show,
Well let me think, here it goes,
Nothing but these words of hope,
With a trip into my soul.
