the lumbering giant taxis down the flight line
what seemed like hours suddenly gives a surge of speed
takeoff lasted forever but before long we were airborn
this behomouth was finally in the air on its way
home bound is what they say
ive flown across the atlantifcand conqoured europe
now i attack the pacific to conquor australia
i traveled as a child with both my parents
but im alone now visiting far off places again
home bound is what they say
i never dreamed id be traveling again outside my reach
but my father changed all that for me when he died
so australia here i come to see what you are
my love of travel is once more comming alive
home bound is what they say
we land i aucklad new zealand first is this really happening
that was a pleasant surprise for me one not expected
then i go on the brisbane australia home it is
home of the kangaroo and the koala bear and crockadile
home bound is what they say
