I'll go Dieting Tomorrow!

Contributed by inoc on Sunday, 3rd October 2004 @ 06:11:20 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I look around and what do I see
delicious cakes biscuits and chocolate yippee
oh just remembered last night
when I said tomorrow I'll start that diet that's right

lunch time is here
and yes I do fear
others are eating takeaway you know
I nibble on lettuce and celery sandwich so I won't grow

my stomach is rumbling
my taste buds are tumbling
where is that sweet taste gone
I try to ignore and continue on

afternoon tea
is where every sweet is free
but today I hold back and sips
on cold water with an apple it's good for my hips

driving home at last
I check out the shops as I go past
no one will ever know if I slip in
but my concience says you've just begin

once home I go the the fridge
there is still cake from last nights binge
oh what the heck
justy one slice won't wreck..

feel guilty once again
I say tomorrow I'll begin
this diet I'll start
I'll stick to it and play my part

very true. well 50 percent of americans are on diets, and lets just say most of them fail in the end...most people dont have the will power or the know how to do a successful diet. most athletes dont know either.

Ugg, that word! Occasionally in the summertime I eat too much at barbecue's and have to diet and exercised to lose 5 lbs. Everybody around here is such a good cook and it would hurt their feelings if I didn't try their dish. I can understand the temptations. (are you buying this S***?, lol) The excuses we will try, roflmhao.

Well done,
Rita

I knew I'd love this!! I told President Bush (who never listens to me, but always goes to his dad) That he should put all Americans on a fitness program..because if the third world ever challenges us to a foot race or anything where health or endurance is involved..we'll all be taken over. Pass the carrots please..Shut up wildejohnny..
