I am not gone
I only ponder
why everyone
I know does wonder
whither I''m gone
or I am here
It makes no differance
that is clear
I know some hurt because of me
I wish for different, honestly
but I can''t spur what''s in my heart
anger, sorrow, giving up
I gave the best that I could give
I loved as much as i could live
treated my friends above myself
but I did not receive their help
past memories replete with anguish
suffer torment joys do vanish
disappearing over yonder
where my heart seeks joy I ponder
Conscience holds me to my virtrue
because i do not want to intrude
about the feelings deep inside
that fills my heart with hurt and strife
But I do hurt and I do suffer
enduring can''t make me tougher
yet I can't ever run away
though my heart oft goes astray.

| fantastic write archie. this made me think of how people think of death in your first stanza. sometimes you have to put yourself first because no one else will care to put you before them, no matter how many times you do it for them. its a flaw in people, among many. compassion in this society is slowly dying, and its back to the thinking of me first and everyone last for most. your last stanza was powerful and gave this write more depth in another area. |

Wow, guess I missed something here.
A sad write but written well.
Hang tuff, my friend. I din't realize u was gone but that's only because this site jus keeps growing with leaps-n-bounds. It's hard for me to to keep up with the long timers such as myself. I never intentionally ignore any one so please keep writing and posting. I eventually get around to those I know such as u but it's not tintentional neglect by all means.
