Crimson Tears

Topic: DarkPoetry

My crimson tears
Run not down my cheeks.
Tears not of sadness
Or of joy.
Tears of pain.
Tears of strife.
Tears of the emptiness inside.
Crimson tears stain my pillow.
The color refuses to leave.
Crimson tears stain my memory.
The color refuses to leave.
I wish to cry no more tears.
My brain refuses to listen.
I will myself not to cry.
My brain refuses to listen.
My body leaves my mind.
My hand is its own self.
It leaves my body and yet
Forces my body to cry
Crimson tears.
Crimson tears stain my pillow.
The color so bright against the black.
Crimson tears so painful,
But feeling has left me.
There is no more pain inside me.
There is no more feeling inside me.
I am empty.
Look inside and see my crimson tears
Once so painful,
Now, instead, are wonderful.
Crimson tears so horrible,
And yet so great.
They hold a power over me.
Crimson tears.
I hate the color, and yet,
It brings me comfort
When I cry crimson tears
Down my body,
But not my cheeks.
When I cry my crimson tears,
I am no longer here.
I have been transported
To another land.
There is no pain here,
There is no strife.
Only crimson tears.
Wading in pools of crimson tears.
Raw feeling is soothed
Into nothingness.
There is no feeling here.
Only peace, only comfort
From these awful, crimson tears.
Crimson tears are my worst enemy.
I fight them everyday.
Crimson tears have become my security,
I need them everyday.
I cannot leave the world
Of crimson tears.
Some say it is the road to hell,
I know it to be so.
I wish I knew a way to free myself
Of my love of crimson tears.
Crimson tears stain my pillow,
The color refuses to leave.
Perhaps I will always have
The land of crimson tears.
Someday, perhaps, there will be a new land.
One with real joy and peace.
But right now crimson tears
Are my only peace.
No joy. Never joy.
Someone save me from this land
Of crimson tears.
Crimson tears stain my pillow.
The color refuses to leave.
