well hey there.
how've you been?
it's been awhile since we've crossed paths and
the night's old.
but i'm not.
so let's grab a coffee and travel southbound...
we can trade thoughts on the way down.
just conversing through from town to town.
or just park it for now.
isn't it just like me to pay this forward
when i've been backwards never poorer.
that's just an evening with you stranger.
for what it's worth i find you soothing
as i pause from busy constant moving.
another night this'll still be stranger.
well what now?
we've come to.
the rumblings of the vehicle now cry out empty
so tell me.
i'm all ears.
what's your meaning for the life in this story...
you can tell upon short and taller tales.
i can glance through as if reading mail.
reading fine print details.
well wonder if it's just me being forward
have i gone wayward with this i'm not sure.
we'll change the idea of being stranger.
don't ask me about what all i'm doing
i'm not too sure but i know i'm moving.
yes this night still gets even stranger.
round one, i'm done leading the way...
now i'm done, take two and we could stay...
should we go or stay?
should we go or stay?
(I've a habit of being out late, even in "the black night with all it's foul temptations..." but it's the moment where i remember to come alive.)

I'm glad I have come across this . . it's so airy and radiant even though you speak of the night . . something of a carefree pleasure . .
The line :
"that's just an evening with you stranger.
for what it's worth i find you soothing", made me smile.
It's perfect.

Its unabashed, for sure. The repetition lends to a slight craziness, in my opinion.
But crazy is good.
Well written, I like it. |
