My bittersweet memories haunt
and I seem unable to find sleep.
Though I know it was not love
this obsession still has a hold on me.
Faceless and faithless
I walk vaguely
through this life.
Unfound I remain today.
Unknown that I try to weep.
Trying too hard to not hate
what it is that I need.
Tired of living
this lie
with nothing inside.
No more will I know
what just can't be broken.
It's just what we all need
when our cries go unheard.
Shattered dreams will resonate
within our empty shells
when we can't seem to let go.

Sometimes we just have to let people in..
I have trouble getting beyond the art of the words..the beauty of it all..like bright lights shining in my eyes so that I can't think so as to find understanding...For instance,
No more will I know
what just can't be broken.
It's just what we all need
when our cries go unheard
I don't understand that at all...why do we need to understand what can't be broken.. ? |

We all have to find it in our own way, but I wish for you inner peace and acceptance of life's bumps in the road.

Reading this today, I see it from a whole different side. I believe I have been here. It's part of the process on the pathway out. There is a choice at the end. I mean then you will be able to make choices.
