the weekend is here
I have caught up at home with cheer
I missed ypdc but I couldn't stay away any longer oh dear!
that little time I stayed away
made me miss your poetry every day
I am lucky I have a family that now understand
that in my life I have hobbies that are expecially grand
so now I am happy to read a lot
and comment in that proper designed little spot
so thank you Mick
for keeping this site it's the best poetry to pick
I really think you all are a talented bunch
with all different personality and styles that fill us inside -like lunch
we care for each others feelings and slot a positive word or thought
to restore all our ego's with the talent blended on this site it's caught
so hello fellow friends I hope we all continue to grow
to be happy 'doing' the different poetry knowhow
