Someone's crying salty tears of sorrow.
Someone's crying sweet tears of joy.
Someone's holding something fragile and broken.
Someone's holding something nothing can destroy.
Someone's softly memorizing hymns.
Someone's wildly yelling rock and roll.
Someone's hailing for a yellow taxi cab,
Someone's taking a quiet moonlight stroll.
Someone's picking wild flowers,
Someone's buying roses at a store.
Someone's following their dull routine,
Someone's trying something they hadn't before.
Someone's holding back a painful lie,
Someone's feeling something strong and true.
You don't have to look very hard,
to see that that Someone is you.
