Selfish Confusion

Contributed by pyrofungus on Saturday, 2nd October 2004 @ 03:10:02 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

How can you be so selfish
As to kiss me when you're with her
To touch me
To want me
To still love me when you're with her
To speak to me
And still care
Those lips are to stay away
Hands should be bound together
Your mind should be filled with only her
To touch me is now a sin
Brought upon by the devil himself
Your warped in with his many ideas
Stringing you in place
Hurting you
But hurting me
Filling our heads with nothing but confusion
Lost in what we see and feel
Just wanting happiness
Yet everything goes wrong
It seems like a plan
One to take over and destroy
Everything that should’ve happened
But now won’t
Because you were too confused to see
What lied in front of you…

Well, no one can say they didn't get the message in this one. lol. First off, I'm sorry it took so long for me to reply from the post you left for me on one of my poems and I thank you for reading it. Now to your poem. I think it's great not for your own incredible style or the heartfelt message to "whoever" but your poem is great because it is honest. I don't know if it's a gift or what but when I read things like this, I don't just feel something, I see it. I can see your pain, your strength and the energy put forth to make this a truly honest poem. Thank you for sharing and I hope to hear from you in the future. Holla Front!!!!!!!!!
