O Joyous Day When The Lord Proclaimed: Salvation

Contributed by Lee on Saturday, 2nd October 2004 @ 02:26:28 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

You will find yourself
In Jesus
You will find yourself
In the Lord
You will find yourself
In His teachings
You will fiind yourself
In His Word

And He will proclaim:
"O joyous day"
And you will exclaim:
"O joyous day!"

Wonderful is the mercy
Of the Lord
We no longer have to fear
The curse of sin anymore
For He has washed
Our sins away

And He will proclaim:
"O joyous day"
And we will exclaim:
"O joyous day!"

How the power of Christ
Who paid the price
With humble humiliation
Set forth a path of spiritual salvation
For the sinner's of God's creation

And He has proclaimed:
"O joyous day"
And we will exclaim:
"O joyous day!"

So now your days might be filled
With the bright glory of the Lord's Will
And He in our hearts has proclaimed
"Salvation"
And the Lord did not feign
His prophetic degradation
When He as the Son of God was put on trial
Before man
Once you have accepted
The Lord in your soul
You will know
A love that is too great to understand

And He will proclaim:
"O joyous day"
And you will exclaim:
"O joyous day!"

And even though
I was never to know
Him as He walked the Earth
Inside of me I have grown close
To the One, crucified, His Father, and the Holy Ghost
And they have guided me through my spiritual rebirth

And He will proclaim:
"O joyous day"
And I will exclaim:
"O joyous day!"
