Shake the bag of runes, my friend....
lay them where they fall
recite them, beginning to end......
heed their ancient call
What is the message that they send.....
they'll never reveal it all
what part of you submits to mend.....
when is it time to crawl
Gentle is the journey's bend....
you're stronger than your wall
there's a little girl you need to tend.....
harvest her tearful gall
Shake the bag of runes, my friend.....
watch careful as they fall
no beginnings, never an end.....
heed their ancient call

Jaymee this poem should end up being a song. I can hear the beat, and the rythem! This is really neat. I'm not sure I know about the runes, but in the Bible they did the same thing, only called by different names....they were guided by God of course for his people only.........It was always nice to see what they had in store for them!
This was a very enjoyable read!
Thanking you for sharing!
Warm hugs
