ARE YOU LIKE THE BARRACUDA?

"ARE YOU LIKE THE BARRACUDA?"

The beautiful and intelligent Barracuda.
Another marvelous creation for the deep aqua.
Scientists at the Woods Hold Oceanographic Institute
did an interesting study!
It's widely known that Barracuda love millet buffet.

Into an aquarium they put the mighty Barracuda,
Then added a glass petition in the middle of the aqua.
On the other side they put numerous millet fish.
Fast moving Barracuda couldn't believe his luck,
this is his favorite dish!!!

Circling several times, he launched directly at his lunch.
Wham! Bam! full throttle into the glass partition sudden crunch!!!
Unfazed by this, he did his preliminary circles again.
Once again, Wham! Bang! he hit the partition playpen.

Again and again and again he tried.
Some weeks later the scientists noticed he stopped
trying, and began to hide.
They decided to remove the glass partition.
Amazingly, the Barracuda remained on his side of the
aquarium, he was beaten!

In fact, the Barracuda nearly died of starvation.....
While the lucky millet swam just a few inches away,
in their safe little haven.
Many of us are like that Barracuda, hurt and bruised!
From precious collisions in our lives, we're wounded,
and confused!

We find ourselves devastated, crushed and wounded.
We've given up, our llives have become unproductive,
lifeless, hopeless, hearts denied!
Without a goal, round and round we go, no purpose
or meaning?
While just a few millimeters away.....
a blessing to be claimed,
a job to be had.
a relationship to be gained.
earnings to be earned.
These goals are just waiting.....
Take this advice, and get moving!

So.......you may have collided several times
before like good seamen.
If you don't succeed those times, don't give up trying--
try, try again!
Unlike the Barracuda, have much braveness.....
They tell me the millet can be quite delicious!!!

excellent message, connie, i feel sorry for the poor animals and creatures that are tortured daily though, in the name of science and research, ...did you know a dolphin is the only mammal to dance in front of a mirror and admire itself? they did that test by putting a mirror underwater, the dolphins primped and everything! it was so cute! lol, {non were hurt} ...anyway, this is another great write from one of my favorite poetess' hugs n' love nessa
