Daddy Why Are We In Court Today

Contributed by Yellowrose on Tuesday, 12th November 2002 @ 09:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Daddy why are we in court today
Please, I don't want to go away
Mommy left us when she died
Keep us with you, Daddy I cried
My brother's promised to be good
Sister and I will do what we should
Please don't leave us here alone
We don't want any other home
Why did Daddy just walk out the door
Doesn't he love us any more
Mommy went away when she died
Now daddy's gone away I cried
On the floor I screamed and whined
Daddy how can you be so unkind
We love you Daddy with all our hearts
Now you've let them tear our family apart
Daddy I just want to give up and die
I want to go to be at Mommy's side
My heart died when you went out the door
Now I'll never be able to love anymore

This is so sad it makes me cry
It's really sad that this happens
all to often in life, one parent passes
and the other one can't bare to go on
handling life any longer and dealing
with the things that need to be taken
care of, My heart goes out to you

Great write. And unfortunately, things like that have to happen everyday. You conveyed the emotion wonderfully! Great write.

Hey Yellowrose,
Sorry I'm a bit late getting back to you!
On the left hand side of the screen in the 'Main Menu you'll see a category called 'Author and Members List', click on that and you'll come to a screen with all members listed alphabetically. Just click on the letter which is the first of the author you're looking for and then click on their name, or scroll down to the bottom of the list where you can turn the page if you need to, to find their name!
I think you're supposed to sign out, if you don't I think you continue to appear online to other members! You an do this by going to the 'Your Account' link at the top of the page, in 'Your Account' you'll see an 'off' button, rather like the ones on stereos and tv's, click this and wait for it to say 'you're now logged out'! Then you are!
But by the time you read this, you'll probably have worked all this out for yourself!
Sorry again for being slow responding!

With love
Dean:-)
