Note to Self

Contributed by andthefoolshallburn on Friday, 1st October 2004 @ 09:31:58 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

You've beaten me before, but this time you won't hold me back. No, this time I won't stop for my last breath. You won't be able to tell me I can't and never will, because from now on, I will.

I can't taste the tears anymore because they won't move another inch, not until you're broken by so much more. And I can finally overcome.

From your hands, deliveries of pain will cease to find refuge inside of me. You've beaten me before but this time you won't hold me back. No, this time I won't stop for my last breath. I'll press onward.

I'LL PRESS ONWARD.

Aw... wow I really like that. Very sad and I hope you're getting on alright now. :) I need songs similar to this as well, and they really do help most of the time when it gets really bad.

I write songs as well actually, and I really wish I could hear the music that goes with it, it sounds like a great song.

Thanks for sharing!

Take care, hang in there and God bless!
