I shall wait until my skin is soft and tender
Then I shall cut hard and deep
To you it might be a mind bender
To me it is a fact... no a way of life
To deal with all my confusion and strife
So I will cut, with my wrist quivering
I shall smile as blood drips into the sink
I've finished with all my questions and dithering
You can see that as the kleenex turns red
My razor is happy and fed
The blood continues to pour
Like a waterfall
And, oh, these cuts are sore,
But my mind is distracted from my emotional pain
Sidetracked by my physical pain
Still, I wish I wasn't so stupid
The reminders always will they remain
For one second don't think me vain
For my skin is broken and torn away
