I weren't supposed to be here

Contributed by carmen_queasy on Friday, 1st October 2004 @ 03:19:27 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Make a promise you will break
And I will make you fall and ache
I’ll smile ironically at the setting sun
‘Cause you won’t be there to see it with me
And I will stand tall, your independent queen
Only this time I will be free, so ***** free

I fall with the pitiful
A pocketful of weakness and fear
You never wanted to know I was here
I don’t want to be here
I don’t want to be here

Whispering thoughts that never left your head
You wished I’d love you, when I was lying there dead
I’ll walk straight through you, don’t stare after me
I will stand tall, nobody’s beauty queen
I’m so free when I don’t want to be

Your tears came crashing down
I never thought to care
Love me, if you ***** dare

I fall with the pitiful
What am I doing here?
Everything you represent drowns in spite
I don’t want to be here
I don’t know why I’m still here

Your tears came crashing down
I never thought to care
Love me, if you dare
Hate me on a double dare
Kill me if I’m still standing here
I don’t want to be here
