Topic: limericks

Verse 1:
Tears, they run down in vain
Three times I've tried to wait up late.
I wound up hurting in the end,
Watch the blood run down my face.

You never really trusted me
Never could you really care
Why should I let you breake me down?
What spells have you put unto me?

Chorus:
If you think you can get me down, you're right
You beat me up from the outside in
My bloody tears from your perfect sin
Watch my blood run off your skin

I've never felt this way before
Strainded here without a door.
Locked inside this cage, you win
You beat me from the outside in

Verse 2:
I'm crawling on the floor
Never felt like this before
I am blinded by the light
Help me aim, Help me shoot
I'm so tired of watching you!

Bridge:
Why must you leave?

great rhythm, terrific hook, strong and complex imagery but immediately recognisable. I really enjoyed this one.
