So Scott...My Son
I sent you some poems I borrowed from a book
Changed a few words, thats all it took
The words I read fit you to a tee
Open those "Sad Puppy eyes" and you will see
All for you thats meant to be
I was thinking of sending a poem of my own
These few poems seem to hit home
I didn't send them to make you cry
Or to bring a tear to your eye
Just to ease your worried little mind
Don't go worrying about the past
Just happy thoughts thats sure to last
You can't change what has been done
Through the pain you have won
I am very proud to call you My Son
Just one thing before I go
This is something you need to know
No matter together or apart
My love for you is here in my heart
