I saw you today, only it wasn't you. I heard you say 'I love you,' but it wasn't your voice. I held you in my arms today, but you weren't around. Every face, every voice, every touch, your memory was inside me.
I don't want to let you go, and I don't want you to forget me. Let roses signify the love, pure and honest, I still feel for you.
I held your hand today, but you were only in my heart. I kissed your lips goodnight, but you were miles away. I'm holding you in my arms right now, even though you're somewhere else. You're inside me.
I still feel the same as when I first told you the three words that signified death of pride, and I still hold you tightly. I only wish that you were still holding me...

| Im so sorry for your pain, it is so hard to get over a broken heart. I feel the same way when my heart was broken. It was a really good write. Time will heal the pain, i know its hard right now, but give it time, and you will soon be over it. |
