always looking toward the white
never looking to the other side
I didnt dare take a risk
safety is where I used to hide
always being a puppet
doing whatever they decided
but it began to drive me insane
and from the white I divided
I dared myself to turn around
and stared black in the face
I reluctantly crossed over
hoping to finally find my place
instead, being in black was just as bad
it was to dark to see
and lucky me I ran into evey poll
isolated with no hope of becoming free
I knew I couldnt stay in the black
but I couldnt go back to the white
after years I finally figured out what I needed
I needed to mix the dark with the light
I took all my strength
I pushed the white in the blacks way
the two mixed together
creating shades of gray
