You asked to see my cuts.
And I did that but hesitated.
I showed you until you’d had enough.
But I hated doing it.
… I pulled up my sleeve.
Your hand touched my wrist.
You looked so sad.
As I examined my scratches.
I KNOW what you want from me.
But YOU KNOW what I am!
Your dark eyes showed that you’re ‘sad for me’.
But I HAD to take a blade and stab.
I couldn’t explain it to you.
But you wanted know.
“Why do I have to slice my-self?”
“Why do I just let go…?”
I asked you if you think I’m twisted.
And your answer was “no!”
So I called my-self a FREAK!
As inside it’s so well known!
And it hurt when you said I’m cared about.
It hurt and scratched inside.
Oh don’t I know that I’m cared about!
It’s permently printed into my mind…!
And when I want to kill my-self,
I hold back every time.
This self-ham will send me back to mental-health!
And those that care will break inside.
Especially if I go ‘all the way’,
And do that darker slit.
That’s why I hold back when people say.
“You’re a freak, and you’re really twisted!”
But then some times it gets unbearable!
That’s why I have to cut.
But I couldn’t explain that to you, AT ALL!
I think I’ve already hurt you people enough!

Well, I have a vague sense of the message you're trying to get across, and I can easily relate, though as I said, it is vague.
Nevertheless, I'm sure most will understand.
This is an intriguing piece, and thought-provoking in the way it left me wondering exactly how to pin-point the fexact feelings you've portrayed.
A great piece, with a soul-searching and despairing vibe surrounding it. If you ever need to talk, feel free to PM me. I won't bite, I promise! :-)
