Moon & Stars

Contributed by pixie on Thursday, 30th September 2004 @ 11:05:44 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Love is always better in the moonlight,
It with the stars illuminates the sky so bright,
Gentle & wonderful silver shades,
Embracing a love that will never fade.

The soft glow from the earth’s moon,
Makes things special as they bloom,
As love unfolds underneath the nights canopy,
I can show exactly how much you mean to me.

I draw you near for our first kiss,
Feels to me like such heavenly bliss,
The twinkling stars light up like a beacon,
Our moonlit love will never weaken.

I stop & stare right into you,
Our hearts stuck together with passion’s glue
Total silence speaks such volumes,
As we breathe in each other’s sexual fumes.

Entwined we lay under the moon & the stars,
Feeling able to reach out & touch Mars,
As I turn to you, you do the same,
Tonight our love will hold no blame.

I feel you tremble as we softly touch,
I have always wanted you so much,
This night is ours & ours alone,
Right next to you is where I call home.
