The leaves fall with passion.
Straight until one with the ground.
Crunching furious and with contempt.
Falling, though, without the slightest sound.
Before we could reach you.
And before we saw the leaves fall.
We wondered often of you.
And remembered life was life after all.
The red and yellow was upon us, then.
The sun pierced and was stuck in between.
That vibrant red and yellow,
Combined with a smile, the greatest of dreams.

Excellent write.
Not a word could have been different- every line's perfect.
'We wondered often of you.
And remembered life was life after all.'
What amazing depth and feeling...
