I sink into the darkness
sitting in my bathtub
I imagine I am drowning
in a pool of my blood
I draw in a sharp breath
and sink deep under the water
my mind races
thinking about my death
as my lungs start to cave in
I bring my self to the surface
****, I've failed again
I see my life as if I had already lived it
every moment filled with sadness
do I give in to my urges to die
do I listen to this madness
I put on a happy face and go on just on more day
so tired of being told to stay
