You are my shooting star,
My guiding light,
Shining up in the darkness so far,
Lighting up the black night.
You are my hopes and my dreams,
My knight in shining armour,
You help me when nothing is as it seems,
In my finest and in my darkest hour.

I will be devoted to you forever more,
And out friendship will never die,
Our love is something that you can’t ignore,
It stretches eternally, up into the sky,
Up into the heavens and beyond.

i remember writing something such as this a long while ago... don't know if i believe it for that particular person anymore, but this is a beautiful thing to believe in... ;0)
