You're there for me through thick and thin,
A friend like you, how did I ever win?
Defending me right to the line,
The best big sister, is the one that is mine.
You've been there me in my hardest times,
You've walked me through my tears when all I could do was cry.
I used to think there was more, but now I know there's not,
You're my family, and the only one I want.
Because of me you've been insulted time and time again,
Most would have walked away; it would already be the end.
But you still hang around, and wait for me to call,
The greatest qualities in a best friend, in you I have them all.
If we only stick together, we can make it through it all,
And I know that is true; our friendship is like a wall.
It can never be penetrated, nothing can make it through,
And the only people who matter in this, are simply me and you.
You've helped me become a better person, on the inside and the out,
And in the short time we've known each other, I've discovered waht true friendship is about.
Being there for the other person, letting them know you care,
And if they ever fall, catching them in mid-air.
You've taught me more than I could ever learn in school,
Now I know how to be smart, and never act a fool.
I know to be confident in everythignI do,
And not to care what others say; the one that matters is you.
I've always wanted a sister, and always needed to go home,
When I met you, I found them both; and knew I'm never alone.
You're the best sister, and I'm glad that you chose me,
And so now I end this poem by saying simply one, four, three.
