We were up late last night
Starting fist fights with beaten pillows
Anger management in its most extreme
We bruised our knuckles
On eachothers temples
To be unconcious was to be victorious
Our faces bled through every possible source
Bloody rivers, forming tributaries
Dripping and staining our shirts
Vision correction
With connection from my fist
You start to weep
Realizing your defeat
Wrapped your arms around my neck
In a brotherly embrace
I had to make you listen one way
I think I have your attention...

This is a wonderful poem. Some times getting someone too listen means lashing out. Bravo. |
