Grief

He didn't ask to be born,
but he was anyway;
brought into this world,
only to be put in the grave.
He counted on you for protection,
but you denied him that;
by beating him everytime he cried,
or whenever you just felt mad.
You showed him no love,
but now it's to late;
it's because of you,
he won't see his first Birthday.
You don't deserve to be a mother,
it's a gift too precious for you;
he was so innocent,
what wrong could he possibly do?
God couldn't take it anymore,
to see his child get beat;
because now he's in a better place,
where his soul is forever at peace!
