Webs of tree limbs,
Black against dark,
Circle like monsters
the path invisible
The way unsure, unknown.
These woods carressed
As I entered,
Smelled the new growth,
Felt the cool shadows.
Glimmers of light dancing past leaves.
Those joys are gone.
surrounded, Consumed,
my chest caving in.
Darkness upon black
Upon blindness and fear.
No bird sings. only dangerous rustlings.
Webs of tree limbs, black against dark,
Encircle me
