This is crazy.
Absolutely insane.
The more I try to leave,
The more things stay the same.
The more clarity I think I see,
The more confusing things really are.
And please tell me why is it
That we we just can't be apart?
The world is swirling around us,
While change inevitably comes.
So why is it so difficult to see
That you are not the one?
For me to be able to admit such truth
Is the first step, I know.
And it would seem that from here
I'd know exactly where to go.
And though I try to take that step
My feet simply won't move.
Motivated by my heart,
I'm stuck in the same old groove.
Destined to be heartbroken
I've set myself up to fail.
Willingly walked into a trap
To make my life a living hell.
But again, I am still here
Trying to take it all in stride.
And the more I try to shelter my heart
My feelings continue to multiply...
Yes
I'm still addicted.
