Feeling Unable & Unstable

Contributed by pixie on Tuesday, 28th September 2004 @ 06:43:53 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

My mind feels set to crack,
Once I’ve gone I’ll never come back,
I’ll be lost in the land of the insane,
Never to return to you again.

I can’t go on feeling so unstable,
To cope with everyday life I am unable,
I sometimes cry myself to sleep,
From under the covers I’m too scared to peep.

I could hear things in my room last night,
That made me chill & filled me with fright,
I hoped that the next day I wouldn’t wake,
No more of this hurt I can take.

Can’t keep hold onto any of my thoughts,
I feel manic & very fraught,
Things spinning round & round,
Feel like my feet don’t touch the ground.

I don’t know how to get a grip,
Just feel like I’m about to flip,
Sink right under into a Psychotic land,
I no longer feel reality in my hand.
