My good bye friend....

Contributed by lowman613 on Monday, 27th September 2004 @ 11:04:45 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Friends come & go to some every day,
Friendships should never die,
If you know the right words to say,
they will never say Good bye,
I really dont remember what went wrong,
but all I know is I lost you,
through a stupid fight,your gone,
and our friendship is through,
If I could take back that day I would,
then we'd be friends again,
things would be like they should,
us just being friends,
Sometimes I might come off wrong,
and that I'm sorry for,
If our friendship was ever strong,
this fight we could ignore,
we're both adults acting like teens,
turning our heads the other way,
when really we both dont want to be mean,
so we avoid each other another day,
Our kids made up,and are getting along,
but we're passing each other by,
I'm sorry for what ever went wrong,
I wish you would just wave hi,
I feel like were strangers living on the same street,
Its tough not to look up your way,
somewhere in the middle we should meet,
so we can be friends today!

I know what your talking about
I had a fight with my best friend years ago....
like your poem we behaved....
now after about 5 years we have finally become friends again
so please don't take that long to patch things up
as when we talk about it now we realised we missed out on seeing and laughing at things we wish we shared
cheers!~
lovely written by the way

Oh Christina I know the feeling, and perhaps you could give her this poem.......but she might have you reeling.........some people can't use logic as you do.........they want to stay angry to avoid you.
It's worth a try though, but be prepared, she might hurt you even more. And so you wouldn't want her for a friend in the end......even if she does live on your block!
I pray this will work out for you........kids make up and adults never connect!
Love you
consue
